1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let the site remember your actions and settings, keep it working securely and – if you consent – help us understand how the site is used. Alongside cookies we also use similar technologies such as browser local storage and tracking pixels; where this policy says «cookies», it means those too.

3. Categories of cookies we use
We group cookies into four categories. Only the first is set without your consent.

Cookies in the Preferences, Statistics and Marketing categories are not set until you expressly consent. If you decline, the website works normally – simply without measurement and advertising features.
4. What happens if you decline
One technical detail we would rather be straightforward about. We use Google tools for measurement and advertising. Even when you decline, these load in a cookieless mode (Google Consent Mode) and receive a limited, non-identifying signal that a page was viewed.
In that mode no cookies are stored on your device, the data is not used for advertising, it is not linked to your Google account, and it does not allow you to be identified. We use the signal only to estimate overall traffic volume.
5. Giving, changing or withdrawing consent
On your first visit a banner appears where you can accept all cookies, decline them, or choose individual categories. Your choice is stored and applies to later visits.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the cookie settings icon that stays in the bottom-left corner of the site. Withdrawal applies going forward and does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it.
You can also control cookies in your browser settings, where you can review, delete or block them entirely. If you delete the cookie holding your consent, we will ask you again on your next visit.
6. The cookies on this website
The list below is generated automatically from a regular scan of our website, so it stays current. For each cookie it shows the name, provider, purpose, expiry and type, along with your current choice and the date you made it.
7. Providers that may set cookies
Besides our own cookies, cookies may be set by third-party providers whose tools we use. The precise, always-current list is in section 6; broadly they fall into these groups:
- Consent management – Usercentrics (Cookiebot), which records your choice.
- Measurement – Google (Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager), only with consent for Statistics.
- Advertising and retargeting – Google Ads, Meta (Facebook, Instagram), TikTok, Pinterest and Snapchat. These load only with consent for Marketing.
- Operation and speed – Google reCAPTCHA, which protects our forms from spam.
- Embedded content – YouTube (videos) and Google Maps (clinic locations), which may set cookies when you view such content.
- Forms and newsletters – SqualoMail, which powers the forms on this site.
These providers are responsible for processing within their own systems, under their own privacy policies.
8. International transfers
Some of these providers belong to groups headquartered in the United States and may access data outside the EU/EEA. Such transfers take place under Chapter V GDPR: either under a European Commission adequacy decision (the EU-US Data Privacy Framework) where the recipient is certified, or under the Standard Contractual Clauses of Article 46 GDPR with additional safeguards. 9. Changes to this policy
We may update this cookie policy from time to time, for example when we add or remove a tool. The list in section 6 updates automatically; the date this text last changed is shown at the top. Where a change requires fresh consent, we will ask you again through the banner.

11. Applicable law
The use of cookies is governed by Article 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC as implemented in the national law applicable to you; for visitors in Slovenia that is Article 225 of the Electronic Communications Act (ZEKom-2). Processing of personal data is governed by the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and the Slovenian Personal Data Protection Act (ZVOP-2).
Politika piškotkov (slovenska različica)
Ta politika pojasnjuje, kaj so piškotki, katere uporabljamo na tem spletnem mestu, zakaj jih uporabljamo in kako lahko svojo odločitev kadar koli spremenite.
1. Kaj so piškotki

4. Kaj se zgodi, če privolitev zavrnete
Za merjenje in oglaševanje uporabljamo orodja družbe Google. Ta se tudi ob zavrnjeni privolitvi naložijo v načinu brez piškotkov (Google Consent Mode) in prejmejo omejen, neidentificiran signal o ogledu strani. V tem načinu se v vašo napravo ne shranijo nobeni piškotki, podatki se ne uporabijo za oglaševanje in ne omogočajo prepoznave posameznika.
5. Kako podate, spremenite ali prekličete privolitev
Ob prvem obisku se prikaže pasica, kjer lahko privolitev sprejmete, zavrnete ali izberete posamezne kategorije. Odločitev lahko kadar koli spremenite s klikom na ikono za nastavitve piškotkov v spodnjem levem kotu. Piškotke lahko nadzirate tudi v nastavitvah brskalnika.
6. Seznam piškotkov
Popoln in vedno ažuren seznam piškotkov je objavljen v angleškem delu te strani, v 6. poglavju. Seznam se ustvari samodejno na podlagi rednega pregleda spletnega mesta.

8. Prenosi v tretje države
Nekateri ponudniki so del skupin s sedežem v ZDA in lahko do podatkov dostopajo zunaj EU oziroma EGP. Prenosi potekajo na podlagi V. poglavja GDPR – sklepa o ustreznosti (Okvir EU-ZDA za zasebnost podatkov) ali standardnih pogodbenih klavzul iz 46. člena GDPR. 9. Spremembe in vprašanja
Politiko lahko občasno posodobimo; seznam piškotkov se posodablja samodejno. Za vprašanja pišite na info@orthodental.si.
