Professional profile
I am Ana, a doctor of dental medicine and a dentist at OrthoDental. I completed my dental studies in Serbia in 2022 and have been practising dentistry in Slovenia since 2024, where I completed my internship and professional examination and obtained a licence for independent practice.
I see patients at OrthoDental Ljubljana, where I continue to build on my clinical knowledge and experience.
I have a particular interest in modern restorative and aesthetic dentistry and in minimally invasive and biomimetic approaches. When restoring a tooth, my aim is to preserve as much healthy tooth structure as possible and achieve a result that looks and functions like a natural tooth.
Every treatment is planned individually, based on a thorough examination and a conversation about the patient’s wishes and expectations.
Alongside clinical work, I have experience in digital health and the standardisation of clinical data using the openEHR standard. I contribute to the development of data models for dentistry and to connecting clinical knowledge with digital health solutions.
This carries over into the clinic: well-structured records and clearly documented findings mean more transparent and safer care for every patient.
In my work I am precise, responsible and empathetic. It matters to me that patients feel comfortable, safe and heard, so I take the time to talk, explain the findings and go through the treatment options.
Before any procedure I explain the proposed steps and answer questions, so that patients know what to expect.

Care is adapted to the patient’s age, oral health and previous experiences. For children, a gradual approach matters; for teenagers, protecting teeth during orthodontic treatment is important; and for adults, prevention, treatment and prosthodontics are considered together.
Your visit
The visit begins with a conversation about the reason for attending and any symptoms. Ana examines the teeth, gums, existing fillings and prosthetic work. When needed, appropriate diagnostics are added before she explains the findings, available options and recommended next steps.
